01 Project Overview

A complete digital ordering and kitchen management system for a growing restaurant chain. Customers scan QR codes at their table, browse a stunning digital menu, and order directly — no paper menus, no miscommunication, instant kitchen display notifications.

The Challenge

The restaurant was losing revenue to slow table turnover, order mistakes from verbal communication, and zero visibility into which menu items were most profitable. Staff were overwhelmed during peak hours managing manual order tickets.

Our Solution

We built a PWA-based QR ordering system using Nuxt.js, with real-time order streaming via WebSocket to Firebase. The kitchen display system shows orders in priority order with countdown timers. The analytics dashboard gives management live revenue and popularity data.
